Responsibilities

  • Managing insurance claims from first notification through to resolution, ensuring fairness, accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigating claims, assessing liability and coverage, and making informed decisions.
  • Negotiating settlements and keeping customers clearly updated throughout the process.
  • Identifying potential fraudulent activity and escalating where required.
  • Maintaining accurate, well-organised records and contributing ideas to enhance our claims processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and negotiation ability.
  • Highly organised, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining outstanding attention to detail.
  • Empathetic, resilient, and comfortable making fair, balanced decisions—always acting with integrity.
  • GCSEs or equivalent minimum; A-levels or degree preferred; professional qualifications such as CII an advantage.
  • Previous experience in insurance, claims handling, or a similar customer-focused environment beneficial; motivated and customer-driven.
