Insurance Claims Handler in Denham

Overview

Apply for the Insurance Claims Handler role at Ardent Advisors. This position offers a competitive salary of £28,000 – £32,000 and is based in Harefield.

Responsibilities

• Managing insurance claims from first notification through to resolution, ensuring fairness, accuracy and compliance
• Investigating claims, assessing liability and coverage, and making informed decisions
• Negotiating settlements and keeping customers clearly updated throughout the process
• Identifying potential fraudulent activity and escalating where required
• Maintaining accurate, well‑organised records and contributing ideas to enhance our claims processes

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent communication and negotiation ability
• Highly organised, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining outstanding attention to detail
• Empathetic, resilient, and comfortable making fair, balanced decisions—always acting with integrity
• GCSEs or equivalent minimum; A‑levels or degree preferred; professional qualifications such as CII an advantage
• Previous experience in insurance, claims handling, or a similar customer‑focused environment beneficial; motivated and customer‑driven
