Ardenlee Care Home is a warm and welcoming 32 bed service set in peaceful surroundings, offering beautiful views across the sea and woodland. We provide high quality, person centred care in a supportive environment where residents feel safe, respected, and truly at home.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to support the delivery of outstanding care and lead by example on shift. If you are compassionate, motivated, and committed to delivering excellent care, we would love to hear from you.
What We Offer
- £13.60 per hour
- Full or Part Time hours available with paid breaks
- Shift patterns available 07:45 to 20:00 or 07:45 to 14:00

What You Will Do
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support the day to day running of the home and lead the care team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will oversee care delivery on shift, support medication administration, and ensure care plans are reviewed and updated to reflect residents’ individual needs. You will promote residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing, while creating a calm, respectful, and supportive environment for both residents and colleagues.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Medication Administration training and competency is essential
- SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable or willingness to work towards this
- Previous experience in a care setting
- Confidence to lead and support a team on shift
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A kind, professional, and person centred approach to care
