We are seeking an exceptional and passionate Orangery Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant team and deliver outstanding dining experiences for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a high-quality dining environment and is passionate about service excellence, team development, and commercial success.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Orangery Restaurant, ensuring outstanding service standards, operational excellence, and financial performance. Working closely with the Head of Food & Beverage, you will play a key role in shaping the guest journey, developing your team, and supporting the continued success of our Food & Beverage offering.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and inspiring a team of Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisors and Food & Beverage Assistants
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the dining journey and fostering a culture of service excellence
- Driving restaurant performance through effective leadership, innovation and continuous improvement
- Overseeing daily operations, ensuring all company standards, policies and procedures are consistently achieved
- Working closely with the Head Chef and wider Food & Beverage management team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Managing recruitment, training, development and performance of the restaurant team
- Monitoring staffing levels, payroll and departmental costs to achieve budgetary targets
- Developing initiatives, promotions and upselling opportunities to maximise revenue and profitability
- Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution
- Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, health & safety, allergen awareness and regulatory compliance
- Taking on Duty Management responsibilities and providing support across departments when required
About You
- Have previous experience in a Restaurant Manager or Senior Food & Beverage leadership role
- Have a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service within a quality hospitality environment
- Have excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills
- Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Have experience managing budgets, payroll and departmental financial performance
- Have a hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example
- Have sound knowledge of food safety, health & safety and licensing regulations
- Have the ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Have a genuine passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction and team development
Additional Information:
- Full-time - Working 45 hours per week
- Working 5 out of 7 days a week
- Shift Pattern: As required
- Salary: £38,000 per annum
- Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business
