Finisher (Barrelling)

Join us on this mission as a Finishing Operativewith a global leader in the Aviation & Aerospace sector. This is a double day shift role, there is a 22.5% shift uplift on the basic pay. Shift hours are 06:00 to 14:00 & 13:45 to 22:00. We have an impressive finishing plant and this role will be undertaking a variety of metal finishing processes and inspection operations, primarily anodising to the required quality standards. You need to be conversant with and undertake a variety of tasks including vibration deburr, passivation, phosphating to the required quality standards. Aspects of the role to include: To operate anodising finishing equipment in both manual and automated production line. To prepare components for finishing processes by bunging, masking, jigging, etc. To operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment. To prepare the metallic surface for further processing including anodising and passivation.
