A respected name in aviation manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Engineering Operative to join the team at their Chalgrove site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly specialised production environment where quality, safety, and precision are key.
What You’ll Do:
- Package and prepare critical aviation components for shipment
- Ensure accurate labelling and documentation of all packed goods
- Keep SAP systems updated to track stock movement and dispatch status
- Receive, check, and log all materials into the packing area
- Safely handle and store materials in accordance with procedures
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools in the packing department
What You’ll Need:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience in a packing, stores, or production environment
- Awareness of health & safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Confidence using stock management systems (SAP preferred)
- Dangerous Goods training (Air, Sea, Road) is beneficial
- Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings
