Arden White is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support our clients Electronics department across multiple engineering programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive and motorsport projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop wiring harnesses, electrical assemblies, and 3D harness models.
- Create and maintain schematics, BOMs, build instructions, and test procedures.
- Diagnose faults and develop prototype engine electrical systems.
- Liaise with project engineers to ensure accurate wiring, sensor, and actuator installations.
- Ensure conformity to Quality Management and fault reporting systems.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in automotive/motorsport or military wiring harness design.
- Proficient with Auto-Sport connectors, Raychem System 25 products, and wiring harness assembly.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Siemens NX is desirable.
- Skilled in diagnostic tools and instrumentation for engine electrical systems.
- HNC/HND qualification in a relevant engineering field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive and motorsport electrical installations.
- Experience in testing, fault finding, and working with automotive sensors (pressure, temperature, fuel injectors, etc.).
- Must be a motivated team player, capable of working under pressure and managing multiple projects.
