Electrical Design Engineer

We are working with a prestigious Formula One team to recruit a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer with proven experience using Siemens NX or any other CAD software on long term contract.\\nThis is a unique opportunity to contribute to the cutting-edge design and development of high-performance electrical systems in one of the most competitive environments in motorsport.\\nKey Responsibilities:\\nDesign and develop electrical systems and components using CAD software.\\nCreate detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors, and control units.\\nCollaborate with mechanical, systems, and race engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.\\nSupport prototype builds, testing, and validation of electrical components.\\nEnsure compliance with FIA regulations and internal quality standards.\\nParticipate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout the development lifecycle.\\nEssential Skills & Experience:\\nProven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in a motorsport, automotive, or aerospace environment.\\nProficiency in electrical design (3D routing, harness design, etc.).\\nStrong understanding of electrical systems, wiring schematics, and harness architecture.\\nFamiliarity with motorsport-grade components and materials.\\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\\nDesirable:\\nExperience working in Formula One or other high-performance motorsport teams.\\nKnowledge of PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).\\nUnderstanding of CAN, LIN, and other automotive communication protocols.\\nWhy Join?\\nWork with a world-class Formula One team at the forefront of innovation.\\nBe part of a fast-paced, high-performance engineering environment.\\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package.\\nOpportunity to make a real impact on race-winning technology.\\nPlease apply with updated CV and details of current rate/salary and notice period.
