The role operates on a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two days per week travel to our Stratford campus. This may fluctuate in line with business requirements.
About the Role:
The UK Immigration Compliance Officer supports the compliance requirements associated with admitting international students to the UK under the Student visa route. This includes conducting and assessing credibility interviews, reviewing financial documentation to ensure it meets Student visa requirements, and evaluating applicants’ immigration and study histories. The role also involves assisting with the preparation and issuance of Confirmations of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), which are required for Student visa applications. In addition, the officer supports mandatory reporting through the UKVI Sponsor Management System (SMS), including reporting instances of non‑enrolment and successful course completion.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven relevant experience in a student immigration advisory service or higher education setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Comprehensive knowledge of UKVI Student visa regulations
- Ability to work accurately with data and meet strict deadlines
Desirable Requirements:
- OISC qualification
- Experience producing reports for compliance or senior management
