This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require little to no travel into one of our UK sites. Our team of Moodle Developers sit within our Technology Department that is crucial to making sure our employees and students can work effectively, deliver projects, find the right solutions and ensure we develop the technology that will make the biggest difference. Our IT team is made up of around 60 employees with a vast range of skills from Software Development to IT Operations and Security.
As a Moodle Developer, you will engage with the full software development lifecycle to develop University Learning systems (Moodle) and contribute to the team's vision of developing best in class digital solutions in order to enable excellent educational provision for our students.
- Mobile application development
- Excellent knowledge of software development principles, theory and practice
- PHP, employing OO Programming principles and Design Patterns
- Agile methodology experience
- Linux command line, including BASH / shell scripting
