About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Human Resources Management to join our growing School of Human Resource Management. The Senior Lecturer will work with the Dean, Head of School, Lecturers and Associate Lecturers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of programmes in accordance with University strategy, policies and procedures and undertake research and scholarly activity.

As we continue to expand our School of Human Resource Management and enhance our portfolio of programmes, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Lecturer in Strategic Human Resource Management to join our growing academic community. This is an exciting opportunity for an academic professional who is committed to excellence in teaching, curriculum innovation, student success, and professional practice.

Essential Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline
  • CIPD qualification/accreditation
  • Significant experience teaching within higher education across multiple levels
  • Experience leading modules, programmes, or academic teams
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design, development, and quality enhancement processes
  • Experience analysing student performance data and implementing improvement strategies
  • Knowledge of QAA benchmarks and professional body requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to inclusive, student-centred learning and teaching

Desirable Requirements

  • A postgraduate teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one within 12 months
  • Experience within distance learning, blended learning, or online education environments
  • Experience contributing to curriculum innovation and programme development
  • Knowledge of professional body standards including SHRM and AHRI
  • Experience supporting student engagement, retention, and success initiatives
  • Evidence of scholarly activity, research, or professional practice within HRM
  • Experience working within a rapidly evolving higher education environment
