The predicted salary is between 41220 - 47728 £ per year.
This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement but will require some travel (up to 2 days per week) into either our London or Manchester campuses. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

The Department of MBA and Executive Education sits within the School of Management and Executive Education and delivers a dynamic portfolio of postgraduate and professional programmes designed for aspiring and experienced business leaders. Our MBA programmes provide a rigorous, research-informed education that combines academic excellence with real-world application, equipping students with the strategic insight, leadership capability, and global perspective required to succeed in complex organisational environments. These programmes attract a diverse, international cohort of professionals and are designed to support career progression and transformational leadership development. Alongside this, our Executive Education provision offers flexible, high-impact learning opportunities for professionals and organisations, including short courses, bespoke programmes, and leadership development initiatives. These programmes are typically intensive, practice-focused, and tailored to address contemporary business challenges, enabling participants to apply learning directly within their workplace. The Department is committed to innovation in teaching and learning, with a strong emphasis on digital delivery, industry engagement, and the integration of emerging themes such as data, technology, and sustainability. About the Opportunity
- Design and deliver high-quality, innovative teaching across MBA and Executive Education programmes, including lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
- Develop engaging curriculum content, learning materials, and assessments aligned with programme standards.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support academic and professional development.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and practical work.
- Support and oversee students undertaking placements, volunteering, or work-based learning modules.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in project management and supply chain, integrating this into teaching.
- Build and sustain links with industry and external partners to enhance teaching, employability, and knowledge exchange.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the University and partner institutions on curriculum delivery and academic practice.
- Contribute to student support, including personal tutoring, recruitment activities, and programme development.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to a positive academic community, including mentoring colleagues and students.
About You
We are particularly looking for someone who is able to bring to life the latest industry practice for our students. You will have a sharp focus on all aspects of excellent teaching, learning and student experience and will contribute to the Department's partnership and knowledge exchange activities.
- A subject expert with strong knowledge and experience in delivering blended, industry-informed teaching within MBA and executive education.
- Experienced in using digital tools and innovative teaching methods, including online and blended learning approaches.
- Able to inspire and engage a diverse range of learners across different levels and modes of study.
- Experience in module leadership, curriculum development, and the design of effective teaching and assessment materials.
- Either hold, or be working towards, a recognised teaching qualification in Higher Education and membership of Advance HE.
- A PhD (completed or near completion), equivalent qualification, or significant industry experience.
- Demonstrate a developing or established research and/or knowledge exchange profile, with potential for income generation.
- Skilled in building partnerships and collaborating with external organisations and stakeholders.
- Able to support student wellbeing and respond appropriately to safeguarding responsibilities.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support activities across the University as required.
Desirable
- Fellowship of Advance HE (or equivalent).
- Postdoctoral research experience.
- Experience of programme or course leadership (undergraduate or postgraduate).
- Membership of relevant professional or regulatory bodies.
