Our School of Psychology, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology, is committed to providing high‐quality, applied psychology education. About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Lecturer in Business Psychology to join our Postgraduate Team. You will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures online for our students.
  • Take on module leadership, ensuring consistent quality and development of learning materials and schemes of work.
  • Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments, and provide high‐quality feedback.
  • Lead or support the creation of new programmes and refresh existing ones to align with industry trends and employer requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide academic advice and support to students.
  • Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support, and assessment techniques.

About You

To be successful as a Lecturer in Business Psychology you must have:

  • An MSc or equivalent formal qualification in Psychology, and be recognised by the BPS as having a Graduate Basis for Chartership.
  • Experience in current and effective teaching, learning and assessment practices.
  • Evidence of successful experience of working in programme teams and being a creative and inspiring lecturer and colleague.
  • Experience or knowledge in Business or Occupational Psychology.
  • Experience in teaching research methods, particularly in business psychology is an advantage.
  • Experience in dissertation supervision, particularly in business psychology is an advantage.

Highly Desirable Criteria

  • A PhD (or close to completion) in Psychology or a closely related subject.
