About our School: You will work with our growing academic team in the Department of Accounting and Finance who develop and deliver our undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio in Accounting and Finance. We equip our students with an in-depth understanding of modern accounting and finance, including the role and scope of technology in the field in areas such as Fintech and blockchain, and help them gain real-world skills for their future careers.
About the Opportunity: Arden University is setting up Employer Advisory Boards to help ensure programmes are industry aligned and responsive to economic and technological change. As a member of the Employer Advisory Board, you’ll help shape the future of education for the school by sharing your industry expertise and insight. Your contributions will support curriculum development, promote graduate employability, and strengthen partnerships between the faculty and the world of work. This is a collaborative and strategic role that amplifies employer voice, helping to shape direction and ensure students graduate ready to succeed in the modern workforce.
About You: The ideal candidate will have experience that focuses on supply chain, project management, SME/start-ups or AI. Other relevant experience would include:
- Governance & Strategy
- Global economic trends and their local impact
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Financial management systems (e.g., ERP, data analytics platforms)
- Knowledge of financial laws (e.g., procurement, public finance acts, ethics)
- Financial oversight and budgeting
- Cybersecurity risks in financial operations
- Public-private partnerships
- Fintech innovations
- Experience of regulatory environments affecting project execution
- Experience of organisational behaviour, change management, and transformation programmes
- Experience of sustainable project practices and integration of ESG principles
- Experience of global supply chain design and logistics network optimisation
- Procurement and sourcing strategies
- Green logistics and carbon footprint reduction
- Experience of current and emerging marketing strategies (e.g., digital, influencer, experiential marketing)
- Experience of Micro Businesses, SMEs or large Enterprise
- Experience in workforce transformation, work-based learning, apprenticeships or graduate recruitment
