This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require little to no travel to our UK sites. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.
About the Opportunity
The Head of Apprenticeship Quality provides strategic leadership for the quality of apprenticeship provision across Arden University. The role is accountable for embedding a high‑performing quality culture that ensures teaching, learning and assessment are consistently outstanding, enabling all apprentices to succeed in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and continuously improve the quality cycle, ensuring provision meets and exceeds internal benchmarks and the expectations of external regulators, including Ofsted, the Quality Assurance Agency and the Office for Students.
- Work in partnership with senior leaders across the University to drive institutional readiness for inspections, lead continuous improvement and ensure that outcomes for apprentices and employers remain consistently strong.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading systematic quality improvement in apprenticeship delivery or a higher education setting.
- Proven leadership skills, adept at managing and developing teams.
- Strong belief in the power of education and opportunity to change lives.
- Significant experience in apprenticeship delivery improvement.
- Personal experience of involvement in Ofsted inspections within an apprenticeship provider.
- Experience evaluating and improving all aspects of apprenticeship quality, from recruitment through to successful EPA.
