You may be required to be on campus 5 days a week in some cases, based on teaching and meeting requirements. In this role you will be required to contribute to the development and delivery of our programmes. You will:Deliver excellent teaching, learning and support to our students.Lead and develop modules, ensuring high-quality learning materials and curriculum development.Design excellent digital teaching material ensuring that content and methods of delivery meet defined learning objectives.Undertake assessment marking, design authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback.Manage your own teaching activity and reflect on practice and development of skills, with support/guidance as needed.Undertake administrative activities to support teaching and learning activities.Actively contribute to School level activity.About You To be successful as a Lecturer in Psychology you will need:An MSc or equivalent qualification in Psychology, with Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS).Experience in teaching, learning, and assessment practices in Higher Education.A track record of successfully contributing to programme teams and being an inspiring and creative lecturer.AdvanceHE Recognition β FHEA or willing to achieve within 12-18 months.We encourage applications from those with experience teaching across the core BPS curriculum and especially with a focus on Research Methods and Clinical Psychology.Highly Desirable Criteria:A PhD (or close to completion) in Psychology or a closely related subject.Why Arden At Arden, you will become a part of a passionate and dedicated team who are committed to removing unnecessary barriers to learning and making education more accessible.
