About the Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Digital Marketing to join our Department of Marketing. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, delivering engaging, research-informed and industry-relevant learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support curriculum development, module leadership, student supervision and assessment.
- Contribute to research, knowledge exchange and external engagement activities.
Essential Requirements
- Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Digital Marketing or a related discipline.
- PhD completed, near completion, or significant industry experience in Digital Marketing.
- Experience of teaching or training in higher education and/or relevant industry practice.
- Ability to deliver innovative teaching using blended and technology-enhanced learning approaches.
- Strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional body membership or qualifications such as DMI, CIM, UX Design Institute, CMI preferred or willingness to work towards.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Fellowship of Advance HE or willingness to achieve.
- Experience of module or programme leadership.
- Research, consultancy or knowledge exchange experience.
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments such as Moodle or Blackboard advantageous.
