About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lecturer in Computing to deliver high quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will play a key role in supporting student success, contributing to curriculum development and maintaining academic standards within a collaborative academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
- Ensure learning materials and delivery methods align with module objectives
- Use effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies
- Set and mark coursework and examinations in line with policy
- Provide constructive feedback to support student progression
- Supervise dissertations, projects and placements where appropriate
- Promote digital literacy within teaching practice
- Support students with academic skills and personal development
- Contribute to new course development and curriculum enhancement
- Participate in quality assurance and academic review processes
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work collaboratively within the programme team
- Participate in relevant academic committees and meetings
- Build internal networks to support programme delivery
- Develop links with professional bodies and external partners
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Planning and Delivery
- Plan and prioritise teaching activity effectively
- Manage workload in line with agreed programme requirements
- Maintain accurate teaching records and materials

About You
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Computing or a related discipline
- Strong specialist knowledge within your subject area
