Overview
Lead Student Success Coach – Maternity Cover (FTC -12 months). Employment type: Fixed Term Contract, Maternity Cover (12 months). Reporting into: Student Coaching Manager. Department: Student Experience.
Salary: £36,000 per annum. Hours per week: 37.

- Lead, train, and develop a team of Success Coaches to ensure high-quality coaching and student support.

- Motivate and guide the team to deliver tailored success plans, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Monitor and enhance service quality, ensuring student needs are met and performance targets are achieved.
- Collaborate across the university to develop best practices in student coaching and engagement.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Team Leader to oversee a team of Success Coaches who provide holistic student support, focusing on academic success, well-being, and personal development.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, train, and develop a team of Success Coaches to ensure high-quality coaching and student support.
- Drive continuous improvement in the coaching programme, ensuring high levels of student satisfaction.
- Motivate and guide your team to deliver tailored success plans, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Monitor and enhance service quality, ensuring student needs are met and performance targets are achieved.
- Collaborate across the university to develop best practices in student coaching and engagement.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced leader with:
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team, driving performance and professional development.
- A track record of motivating teams to deliver exceptional student support services, build strong professional relationships, and achieve targets/KPIs.
- Strong knowledge of student resources, referrals, and support services, ensuring students receive the guidance they need.
- A solid understanding of coaching principles and techniques, with the ability to apply them effectively in a student-focused environment.
- Familiarity with higher education systems and student development theories, including growth mindset strategies and motivational techniques.
