The Head of Apprenticeship Quality provides strategic leadership for the quality of apprenticeship provision across Arden University. The role is accountable for embedding a high‑performing quality culture that ensures teaching, learning, and assessment are consistently outstanding, enabling all apprentices to succeed in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the quality cycle, ensuring provision meets and exceeds internal benchmarks and the expectations of external regulators, including Ofsted, Quality Assurance Agency, and Office for Students.

Working in partnership with senior leaders across the University, you will drive institutional readiness for inspection, lead continuous improvement, and ensure that outcomes for apprentices and employers are consistently strong.

About You:

  • Extensive evidenced capability in leading systematic quality improvement in apprenticeship delivery / higher education setting
  • A proven leader, skilled at managing and developing teams.
  • You genuinely believe in the power of education and opportunity to change lives.
  • Significant experience of apprenticeship delivery improvement.
  • Personal experience of involvement in Ofsted Inspections within an apprenticeship provider
  • Experience of evaluating and improving all aspects of apprenticeship quality, from recruitment through to successful EPA
