Event Manager – Centre for Academic Persistence Join to apply for the Event Manager – Centre for Academic Persistence role at Arden University . This role operates a hybrid working model that requires some travel to our Coventry head office or various campuses for events. Our working arrangements are a non-contractual benefit, and an Arden work location will be added to employment contracts. Travel locations include: Coventry head office Birmingham campus Leeds campus Nottingham campus Manchester campus London area (Tower Hill, Holborn & Ealing) Note: Some travel to external venues during the new student orientation week (every 10 weeks). Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Employment type: Permanent Hours per week: 37 Reporting into: Director Department: Academic Persistence Role overview: The Event Manager will oversee academic persistence initiatives, including new student orientation activities for approximately 10,000 students annually. Responsibilities include planning, executing, and analyzing events, working with leadership, managing budgets, and coordinating with staff, students, and external suppliers to enhance student experience and improve processes. About You: Experience organizing large-scale events for over 2000 students Proven project management from planning to evaluation Leadership skills managing staff and volunteers Experience working with senior staff Budget forecasting and management Supplier negotiation skills Ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments Preferred: Experience in student-related event management Why Arden: Join a passionate team committed to removing barriers to learning.
