Employer Advisory Board – Management and Executive Education role at Arden University (voluntary board member). Time commitment: 2-3 online meetings per year with optional additional work. School: Business Management and Creativity.

Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Employer Advisory Board, you’ll help shape the future of education for the school by sharing your industry expertise and insight.
  • Your contributions will support curriculum development, promote graduate employability, and strengthen partnerships between the faculty and the world of work.
  • This is a collaborative and strategic role that amplifies employer voice – helping to shape direction and ensure students graduate ready to succeed in the modern workforce.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience that focuses on supply chain, project management, SME/start-ups or AI.

  • Governance & Strategy
  • Global economic trends and their local impact
  • Strategic thinking and planning
  • Financial management systems (e.g., ERP, data analytics platforms)
  • Knowledge of financial laws (e.g., procurement, public finance acts, ethics)
  • Financial oversight and budgeting

  • Experience of regulatory environments affecting project execution
  • Experience of organisational behaviour, change management, and transformation programmes

  • Procurement and sourcing strategies
  • Green logistics and carbon footprint reduction
  • Experience of current and emerging marketing strategies (e.g., digital, influencer, experiential marketing)
