This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that will require travel to our Coventry Head Office (expected to be twice a month to meet business needs).

About the Role:

You will work to support international students at Arden locations in the UK and applicants worldwide. This will require the management of applicant and student cases throughout the student lifecycle, to ensure that Arden meet their regulatory obligations to the UKVI and others, while supporting customers as required. It will include liaison with the admissions team, organising the enrolment process, visa and record management of International students at all Arden campuses. You will also be required to understand and implement the University’s Immigration processes in accordance with the UKVI.

About You:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Immigration Compliance Manager with strong knowledge of UKVI requirements and a proven ability to manage immigration compliance within a Higher Education environment. You will be organised, detail-focused, and confident in providing advice, delivering training, and working collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in immigration advice, compliance, or international student support.
  • Extensive knowledge of UKVI immigration policy and regulations relevant to Higher Education.
  • Proven experience managing immigration compliance processes within a UK university or similar institution.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver training and produce clear compliance documentation.

Desirable Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Law or International Relations.
  • OISC Level 1 or higher accreditation.
  • Experience working with external regulatory bodies and supporting internal audit processes.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data governance in relation to international student records.
  • Experience using the UKVI Sponsor Management System (SMS) and student management systems.
