Arden University is a modern higher education provider with a clear mission to make education accessible, flexible and relevant for a diverse and often non-traditional student population. As the University continues to grow and innovate, a strong focus on student outcomes, academic performance and regulatory confidence is critical.
Arden University is now seeking a Director of the Student Outcomes Programme to play a central role in strengthening continuation, completion and progression outcomes across the institution. This is a delivery focused role, operating at the intersection of academic operations, data insight and regulatory compliance, with a clear emphasis on turning strategic intent into measurable improvement for students.
The postholder will support the planning, coordination and tracking of priority student outcomes initiatives aligned to OfS B3 metrics. Working closely with academic faculties, student experience teams, registry and data colleagues, the role will provide structured programme level oversight and ensure that agreed interventions are implemented consistently, at pace and with clear accountability. The role will also be responsible for maintaining programme plans, milestones and risk logs, proactively identifying and escalating issues that could impact delivery.
A key element of the role is the production of clear, robust performance reporting. This will include developing dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders and governance forums, supporting scenario modelling where required and ensuring that insight is translated into meaningful action. The role will also support evidence collation and narrative development for internal assurance and external scrutiny, ensuring a clear line of sight from root cause to intervention to impact.
This opportunity will suit someone with experience of programme or project management within higher education or another regulated environment, who brings a strong understanding of student lifecycle data and academic performance metrics. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple workstreams, working with ambiguity and engaging a wide range of stakeholders, while communicating complex information clearly and credibly to senior audiences.
This is a mission critical role at Arden University, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to improved student outcomes, strengthened regulatory confidence and sustainable institutional performance. It is well suited to an individual motivated by delivery, impact and purpose, who is aligned to Arden University’s mission of widening access to high quality higher education.
