The role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that will require travel to the nearest Arden Campus as and when business requirements.
You will also be required to attend other campuses to support team and student activities. These will be arranged in advance with your manager.
Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

The Arden University Students\\\’ Association represents all students enrolled in distance and blended learning programs. We are dedicated to advocating for student interests, no matter where or how they study. We collaborate closely with Arden University staff to ensure students receive the best support, guidance, and opportunities to succeed during their time at Arden University.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and student-focused individual to join us at an exciting time for Arden University Students’ Association, as we grow to further develop our advocacy, research and representation of students across blended and digital-learning.
This role plays an essential part of the team supporting and driving improvements to the administrative and communication functions for the Association.
You will provide regular support to staff and students to ensure we build effective and efficient operating models, systems, and processes to ensure the team can positively impact our students. In addition, you will take an active role in scoping and delivering new initiatives and developments to the way we work ensuring they are fit for purpose.
Lastly, you will play a key part in our communications and marketing to our students, alongside wider stakeholders.
About You
The successful Communications and Administration Coordinator will have/be:
- Education: Relevant educational background or significant experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, excellent time management, and a keen attention to detail.
- Experience: Proven track record in organising meetings, drafting reports, and developing engaging digital content. Experience in social media management and administrative processes is essential.
You’ll thrive in this role if you\’re a flexible team player, quick to adapt to change, and eager to contribute to the development of new initiatives.
