About our Department
Our Central Timetabling Team ensure that all teaching activity (across all Faculties and all Arden locations) is appropriately scheduled and effectively uses all resources involved in the delivery of teaching, providing a valuable service to both internal stakeholders and students.
About the Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Central Timetabling Officer (FTC) to join us as we implement new systems. You will play a key role in implementing our new digital timetabling system and ensuring the smooth running of academic schedules. Working closely with Academic, Commercial, and Campus teams, you will maintain and update timetables, resolve conflicts, and support staff and students. This role requires independent working, cross-team collaboration, and a commitment to maintaining a structured, efficient, and student-focused academic calendar.
About You
Essential:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience
- Confident in managing diaries, coordinating meetings, and handling sensitive information with professionalism.
- Experience supporting senior leadership
- Strong IT skills, especially in databases and MS Excel
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience in Higher or Further Education
- Knowledge of timetabling systems
- Project management and technology implementation skills
