Department: Careers, Employability and Alumni

Responsibilities

  • Provide information, advice and guidance to Arden Students and Graduates using a wide range of online tools to assess their values, interests, skills and abilities, helping them to acquire skills and resources to plan and manage their careers.
  • Develop and deliver careers education materials online and in‑person as part of the academic curriculum, collaborate and co‑create with academic colleagues and students.
  • Participate in annual service planning with schools and faculties, and take part in ongoing reviews and enhancements.

Qualifications

  • A relevant professional careers qualification or experience in a recruitment or human resources function.
  • Experience working with students or graduates from diverse backgrounds, supporting them in a variety of contexts.
  • A proven ability to coach and mentor individuals to help them achieve their goals and succeed.
  • Experience on complex projects to tight deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Awareness of current issues in Higher Education and an understanding of graduate employment trends.
