Overview

Apprenticeship Coach – 18 month FTC at Arden University. Fixed Term Contract for 18 months. Hours per week: 37. Salary: £38,000 per annum. Reporting into: Apprenticeship Manager. Department: Corporate Learning.

This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement with little to no travel to Coventry head office.

There is a non-contractual benefit regarding Arden work location added to employment contracts.

About the Role

The Coach guides and supports apprentices throughout their degree apprenticeship journey. You will empower learners as they develop essential knowledge, skills and behaviours for success, monitor progress, and support completion through the End Point Assessment (EPA). You will provide detailed feedback, set meaningful actions, and offer regular, tailored guidance to help each learner stay on track.

  • Provide detailed feedback and set actionable development steps.
  • Offer regular, tailored guidance to help learners achieve goals.

About You / Qualifications

  • Experience in guiding and supporting apprentices through learning journeys.
  • Ability to empower learners to build essential knowledge, skills and behaviours, from starting point to EPA completion.
  • Strong understanding of leadership principles, coaching methodologies, and industry-specific knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of apprenticeship compliance and quality; ability to complete essential administration with attention to detail.
