The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This role will be based at our Holborn Campus, although will be required on occasion to cover at our other London Campuses (Ealing, Stratford and Tower Hill). This role will require a presence of at least 4 days a week on campus, with 1 day working from home. You may be required to be on campus 5 days a week in some cases, based on teaching, student timetables and meeting requirements.

About our Department: At Arden University, we’re dedicated to providing students with everything they need to excel in their studies‑all in one place! Our Library and Learning Success Hub is a dynamic, 24/7 support service designed to help students thrive academically and achieve their goals. We have a Digital Library service, and provide academic skills support, and resources for students studying in English as an additional language.
Responsibilities
- Deliver workshops and one‑on‑one support: facilitate workshops and provide personalised assistance to develop students' academic skills.
- Support across programs and levels: assist students from various programmes and educational levels in enhancing their academic capabilities.
- Monitor and enhance student engagement: track student engagement and implement strategies to support and increase participation.
- Contribute to program development: participate in the innovative development of academic skills programs to ensure high‑quality student experiences.
- Focus areas: support students with academic writing, academic integrity, effective study habits, and digital literacy.
You will have a day off in the week when you work on a Saturday. You will need to work up to 4 days a week on campus to suit the student timetable.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in supporting students to develop strong academic skills across diverse programmes.
- Excellent digital literacy skills with a passion for enhancing students' digital competencies.
- Holding or working towards a postgraduate degree in relevant fields such as Leadership and Management, Social Science, Psychology, Law, Criminology, STEM, or Health Care and Management.
- Hold a PGCE or other teaching qualification recognised by the HE sector in the UK.
- Empathetic, understanding, and kind, with the ability to support a diverse student population effectively.
- Highly motivated, positive, ambitious, and organised with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering blended and online learning.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development and sharing best practices to foster continuous improvement.
