The position would suit an experienced engineer who combines strong hands‑on programming skills with a broader understanding of robotics, system architecture and technical leadership. The Role You’ll play an important part in developing and improving the software behind advanced robotic platforms, with responsibilities including: Designing and building sophisticated robotics software, covering areas such as autonomous navigation, environmental awareness, movement and control. Taking projects from initial concepts and proof of concept development through simulation, testing and deployment into operational environments. Developing efficient, maintainable software capable of supporting complex robotic applications. Working closely with hardware, electronics and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between physical systems and software. Improving software reliability, performance and maintainability through structured testing, peer reviews and engineering best practices.
