We are seeking a Linux Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Rotherham. This role involves providing support, administration, and customer service for Linux systems and related hardware and software platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Linux-based systems (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky/Ubuntu).
- Troubleshoot server, storage, application, and networking issues for global clients.
- Assist with hardware/software installations, configurations, and deployments.
- Document resolutions and contribute to the internal knowledgebase.
- Learn and support enterprise storage systems, including distributed filesystems.
- Support basic networking (VLANs, routing, switch configuration).
- Utilize automation tools (SaltStack) and scripting (Bash/Python) — training provided.
Person Profile
- Experience in an IT support role, service desk, or infrastructure support.
