Are you an ambitious sales professional with a strong background in ecommerce and fulfilment? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics provider for a Commercial Sales Manager. This is a mostly remote role that will require you to be a project leader and drive growth and development of the business through key accounts.
The Role
As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will focus on, but not be restricted to, ecommerce and fulfilment clients. You will take ownership and coordinate the management processes in line with the business and customers' requirements. Your primary goal is over achieving revenue and profit targets for all accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Source new clients through cold calling.
- Create your own leads and maintain a full weekly diary.
- Achieve new monthly business targets and KPIs within the contract term.
- Produce weekly sales reports and figures.
- Manage project activity within the customers.
The Ideal Candidate
You must have demonstrable achievements in a sales role within the ecommerce and fulfilment and Logistics industry (B2B and B2C) within the international and domestic markets with at least 5 years continued experience. You must have a thorough understanding of carrier networks. You must possess excellent negotiating skills and be a closer. You will need a full clean driving license, as the role may include requirements to travel in the UK and abroad. Ideally, you will be based in the Midlands or Northwest area.
