About the Opportunity

Are you a creative marketer looking for an exciting new challenge in a beautiful rural setting? We are partnering with a highly successful, long-standing business in the agricultural sector. They are looking for a versatile Marketing Assistant. You don’t need decades of experience for this role—if you have a solid foundation in marketing, a great attitude, and a willingness to get stuck in, this is the perfect place to grow! This is a dynamic role with a clear 80% Marketing / 20% Administration split. You will report directly to the Commercial Management team, driving the company's digital presence while also getting to learn the business inside out by occasionally supporting the core operations team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Digital Content: Keep the company website fresh and engaging using the WordPress CMS.
  • Social Media & Campaigns: Be the voice of the brand! Create exciting posts, manage email marketing via Mailchimp, and produce regular newsletters and market reports.
  • Creative Design: Whip up eye-catching marketing materials for digital and print using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop), and build great relationships with external designers and printers.
  • Events: Take the lead on organising trade stands for industry events and support the field team with client meetings.
  • Operations Support (The 20%): For about 5 weeks a year, you’ll provide holiday cover for the busy administration department. This involves managing bookings, processing invoices and payments, and helping customers with their queries.

Who We're Looking For

  • You must drive and have your own transport due to the beautiful rural location.
  • You have some proven marketing experience, particularly with WordPress, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • You don't need a background in agriculture—your initiative, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn are what matter most!
  • You are highly organised, confident, and happy working independently.
  • A Marketing degree or CIM qualification is a fantastic bonus, but definitely not essential.
