About the Role
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to a private family office, managing daily correspondence, household-related tasks and general office administration. This is a hands-on role requiring absolute discretion, excellent organisation and the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of a busy private estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Organising and coordinating post and returns
- Managing personal and household-related administrative tasks
- Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion when handling sensitive information
- Liaising with household staff, vendors and external service providers
- Assisting with personal projects and errands as requested
- Providing general administrative support to the House Manager's day-to-day activities
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Personal Assistant
- Excellent organisational, household/family and time-management skills
- Discretion, confidentiality and a high level of professionalism
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
- Full, clean driving licence and own transport (essential due to the rural location)
- Up-to-date DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- A trustworthy, discreet and dependable approach
Desirable
- Previous experience working with high-net-worth individuals or within a private household
- Willingness and physical capability to carry out occasional manual tasks, such as lifting and moving boxes or supplies
