Wholesale Manager
The Wholesale Manager is responsible for driving global wholesale performance with a strong emphasis on the European region. This role works closely with the Senior Sales Manager and collaborates daily with the Wholesale Executives in London and New York, as well as the Sales Admin. The position ensures smooth execution across all wholesale operations, strong retailer relationships, and cohesive brand representation worldwide.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy, Forecasting & Planning
- Build the wholesale sales forecast by region, account, and collection, with deeper ownership of growth opportunities.
- Partner with the Senior Sales Manager on seasonal strategies, ensuring regional needs and market trends are fully represented.
Campaign Execution
- Lead wholesale appointments and support global appointments alongside the wider sales team.
- Secure priority accounts and key partners each season.
- Deliver consistent brand presentation across all digital and in‑person appointments.
- Provide retailers with accurate and timely pre‑order information, including pricing, line sheets, product knowledge and order deadlines.
- Collate, structure and submit wholesale orders for internal review.
- Oversee the accuracy and upkeep of the seasonal sales order overview, working closely with the Sales Admin.
Account & Relationship Management
- Manage and grow the wholesale network while supporting select global accounts.
- Negotiate retailer terms, safeguarding brand interests across discounts, cancellations, exclusives and sell‑through expectations.
- Oversee the onboarding of new accounts.
- Maintain strong relationships with buyers and retail partners across all markets.
Reporting & Analysis
- Identify region‑specific opportunities, risks and product performance trends for senior leadership and internal teams.
Brand & Commercial Development
- Identify European‑led commercial opportunities including exclusives, capsules, trunk shows and special projects.
- Gather and structure retailer feedback for cross‑functional teams.
- Plan and execute European trunk show opportunities.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Senior Sales Manager to guide the team.
- Maintain strong communication across teams and time zones to support the global wholesale function.
Candidate Profile
- Advanced Excel skills with an analytical, data‑confident mindset.
- Highly organised, able to independently manage travel, schedules and priorities.
- Experience overseeing or mentoring team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
