ARDATEM, founded in 1987 and currently employing around 800 people, is a subsidiary of the Gérard Perrier Industrie Group. ARDATEM operates in the energy sector, working on nuclear plants at various stages: studies, operation, and maintenance. The company also engages with industrial sites in the fuel cycle, thermal power plants, and research centers. In 2022, ARDATEM UK Pvt Ltd. was established in the United Kingdom to provide engineering consulting services, particularly in the fields of Control and Instrumentation (C&I) and electrical engineering.

To support the development of our new agency in Bristol, we are recruiting an Electrical Engineer specialized in the nuclear sector. Experienced along with autonomy and sense of responsibility, ARDATEM UK is looking for a candidate who will enable you to carry out the following tasks:

  • Draft methodologies for the installation of electrical equipment, both temporary and permanent.
  • Supervise and coordinate Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and High Voltage (HV) systems within a European Pressurized Reactor (EPR).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions aimed at improving performance, safety, and reliability of installations.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of upgrade and modification projects.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends and discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable nuclear regulatory requirements and industry standards.

We are looking for a candidate with an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field. You should have at least 3 years of experience in the installation of electrical equipment, ideally on nuclear sites such as Nuclear Power Plants (NPP), the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project, the FA3 or the EPR of Taishan. Your technical expertise and understanding of the specific standards and regulations in the nuclear sector are essential. You will be required to work closely with teams, contributing to the safety and reliability of the installations.

The position is based in Bristol. The salary is negotiable and will be adjusted based on your profile, skills, and experience.
