ARDATEM operates in the energy sector, working on nuclear plants at various stages: studies, operation, and maintenance, and also engages with industrial sites in the fuel cycle, thermal power plants, and research centers. In 2025, ARDATEM UK Pvt Ltd. started operations in the United Kingdom to provide engineering consulting services, particularly in the fields of Control and Instrumentation (C&I), safety and electrical engineering, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and all on-site activities for the UK nuclear industry.
As part of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear project, you will join the Configuration Management team within Edvance/EPRe\’s Technical Direction. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating technical configuration activities, ensuring efficient implementation of the Design Change Process and contributing directly to the project\’s engineering performance.
Main Mission
As a Contract Technical Engineering Lead (CEL), you will act as the Client’s primary technical point of contact for the “cabinets and boxes” scope. Your role will involve leading the technical execution of the contract, managing interfaces, and supporting the contractual relationship with the supplier.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Client’s entry point for all technical matters related to the contract.
- Ensure proper contract execution with respect to schedule, cost, scope, and quality of studies.
- Oversee and monitor the supplier’s technical and documentation activities.
- Coordinate the review and approval of technical documents in collaboration with relevant disciplines.
- Prepare and consolidate comment sheets and organize clarifications with the supplier.
- Manage contractual modifications through CTS (Contract Transfer Sheets) and follow up on non-conformities or technical issues arising from site activities.
- Lead interface management with Responsible Designer disciplines and support qualification activities performed.
- Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and open points related to the contract.
Profile
- The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, industrial systems, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in managing technical contracts, ideally within the energy, nuclear, or large-scale industrial project sectors.
- Strong expertise in supplier management, documentation control, and multi-disciplinary technical coordination.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to work effectively within a team.
- Full professional fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.
- Solid knowledge of RCC-E electrical regulations and/or technical reference systems such as NFC15-100, NF C 13-200, BS7671, or IEC 60909.
- Hands-on experience reviewing or producing technical documentation related to cabinet design, installation, and cabling specifications.
- Prior experience or academic exposure to the nuclear industry is an asset; strong understanding of industrial project processes in the energy sector.
