Overview
As Quality Auditor you will safeguard product quality across a fast-paced production line, supporting compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll work within the Shift Team to identify and address quality issues, drive root-cause investigations, and help simplify processes. Your work ensures traceability, food safety, and reliable testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce waste and customer complaints. This role offers a meaningful impact on product quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Carry out quality inspections and product testing ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, and traceability requirements
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot quality analytical equipment and gauges
- Lead investigations into quality and manufacturing issues using root cause analysis
- Analyze quality data, produce statistical reports, and provide insights to support performance and CI
- Support production activities including new decoration proofing, plate making, and reporting of non-conforming raw materials
- Review and improve working practices, participate in Continuous Improvement and 6S initiatives, and develop SOPs and training materials
- Conduct internal inspections, workplace audits, and training to ensure compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and third-party audits
Key requirements
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Basic computer skills with MS packages
- Experience with SAP, APRISO, InfinityQS, Minitab is desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role within fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
