Responsibilities
- Have a strong understanding and ability to utilize electrical programming software (e.g., Siemens S7, Allen Bradley)
- Understand and work with field networks (Profibus, Profinet, etc.)
- Carry out general workshop duties, including rework of used parts
- Demonstrate knowledge of robotic systems (FANUC, KUKA)
- Troubleshoot and resolve process equipment faults
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Support training and development of apprentices and team members
- Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure a safe, organized work environment
Qualifications
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical engineering
- Education: GCSE or equivalent in English & Mathematics; basic computer literacy
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Maintenance engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
- Highly flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined team, prioritizing safety
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take responsibility
Shift Pattern & Benefits
- 4 x 12 hours shifts: 2 days 2 nights / 4 off
- Fixed rota with 5 x 18 day holiday breaks per annum.
- Package Circa: £58,000 per annum (including shift allowance)
