Are you ready to kick-start your career in the dynamic world of metal packaging? Ardagh Metal Packaging UK Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for five apprentices to join our team in Rugby. We have openings for Engineering Apprentices focusing on Technical, Production, Engineering, and Electrical trades.

About the Apprenticeship

  • We have 4 Mechanical Apprenticeships and 1 Electrical Apprenticeship available at Ardagh Rugby.
  • Location: 1st Year – Warwick Trident College, 2nd – 4th Year – Based at the Plant with weekly day release.
  • Duration: Four-year programme starting in September 2026.
  • Structure: In Yr 2 you will join the Plant full time within the days Engineering Team until the age of 18 when you will join your allocated shift pattern. If already 18+ successful applicants will join Shift within 3 months of Yr 2.
  • Qualification: Study for a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Mechatronics).
  • Pathways: Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Minimum of five GCSEs (or expected) at Grade 4 or above, including English, Science, and Maths. (National 5s in Scotland)
  • Skills: Self‑motivated, hardworking, flexible attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work well in a team.
