As an Enterprise Architect you will be joining a well-established and growing Strategy and Architecture team. You will be responsible for analysing and documenting the current state technology landscape including the identification of risks and opportunities within the technology landscape and support in developing and implementing the target state technology landscape including transition states. You will also be working with both business and IT stakeholders in enhancing the current business capability model and looking for opportunities for application rationalisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute in developing Group architecture principles, standards and reference models.
- Contribute in creating Enterprise Architecture strategy and roadmap to help improve Enterprise Architecture maturity within Ardagh Group.
- Ensure solution designs are appropriate, innovative and compliant with Group architecture principles, standards and reference models.
- Contribute in developing Ardagh’s IT strategy, the long range plan and other assessments across capability & technology areas.
- Contribute in documenting and validating Ardagh’s current, target and transition states architecture while providing architecture supporting/oversight to ongoing projects and programs across Ardagh Group.
- Support with enhancing the current business capability model and roadmap including looking for opportunities for application rationalisation.
- Share insight into areas for improvement, mitigation of risks, dependencies and opportunity to generate business value while encouraging cross regional and functional collaborations.
- Provide strategic oversight, planning, governance and direction to a global virtual team of Solution Architects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Significant experience in an Enterprise Architectural role within a global team.
- Experience in executing or working with TOGA Architecture Development Method (ADM) or equivalent architecture framework.
- Proven experience in developing architecture roadmaps, standards, and blueprints.
- Experience in developing end state architecture, mapping architecture to business capabilities and creating a path to achieve the end state using industry standard frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft technology ecosystem, cloud services (Azure is preferred), integration, and enterprise service bus architecture.
- Experience in using Enterprise Architecture tooling – preferable LeanIX.
