The predicted salary is between 45106 - 53230 £ per year.

To carry out electrical repair and maintenance work on factory equipment and services to maintain efficient operations of the plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of glass bottle forming machines and all plant equipment and services.
  • Performing reactive/planned preventative maintenance (PM).
  • Identify and repair electrical faults with factory equipment and services.
  • Small electrical installations, electrical modification projects.

Required skills / qualifications:

  • Must have gained a recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
  • Good fault-finding and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of PLC's and Inverter drives and ability to understand technical drawings.
  • Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team under pressure.
  • Commitment and enthusiasm to support a 24-hour process.
  • Excellent engineering skills and initiative.
  • Computer literate with good oral and written communication skills.

What we offer:

  • Salary Minimum 45,106 – 53,230 Maximum.
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions.
  • Normal shift pattern is determined by the 5-crew shift rota, typically consists of two 12-hour day shifts followed by two 12-hour night shifts and then a six-day rest period which includes 21 shifts when working the 5 crew 12-hour shift rota. Holidays are built into the shift 5 crew rota.
