Responsibilities:
- Maintain, monitor and improve cold end bottle handling from Lehr discharge to Palletiser discharge, and respond to problems on the Lehrs and Cold End Sprays.
- Monitor commercial ware losses and identify the cause of the issue either by equipment set up or bottle features requiring attention from other departments; make setting adjustments or pass relevant information onto appropriate personnel.
- Assist and support with job changes and demonstrate flexibility to support a 24‑hour operation.
- Maintain departmental records to establish and maintain a well‑informed team.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- The desire to demonstrate the company core values at all times.
- Working toward or achieved a recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent).
- Understanding of glass container terminology and fault awareness, commitment toward continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with a commitment to teamwork.
- Confidence to work under pressure and use initiative to problem‑solve and support the team.
