HEIGHT CHANGE PROCESS LEADER

Days shift pattern

7:00am to 15:30pm Monday to Thursday and 07:00am to 15:00hrs on a Friday

EXCELLENT SALARY PACKAGE

£58,514 plus annual bonus (subject to achievement of set KPIs)

Main purpose of the position

Key areas of responsibility will be to drive, develop and improve the plants maintenance systems, and be the lead between all engineering functions for forthcoming height changes in the plant.

In the maintenance function you will support the Plants TPM strategy, driving improvements in Autonomous and Planned maintenance. Developing our existing systems and equipment to ensure we are fully utilising the latest tools and technologies, and also linking in with the wider group for best practices.

Working alongside the Engineering Coordinators, ensuring we have the correct tooling and machinery capabilities for height changes in the plant. Further then developing these changes to minimise change times. Working with CI using SMED tools and processes to improve change over times and minimise downtime.

The position will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage Autonomous and Planned maintenance scheduling, in line with Plant requirements and capacity.
  • Play an active role in Maintenance days. Linking between Coordinators and production, ensuring the Maintenance is complete, on-time and in full.
  • Work alongside Production and engineering, to identify existing engineering issues to be planned and rectified.
  • Feedback maintenance completion rates and work with Coordinators/management to improve.
  • Be involved with autonomous improvement projects, working alongside shifts and days team to identify and develop. Lending on the technical expertise and knowledge of the engineering and shift teams.
  • Lead and monitor the autonomous maintenance scheduling via Apriso, working with shift managers and cell leaders to ensure completion and proper use.
  • Work alongside Engineering and Production Manager to Plan and Lead Height Change Team with hands on Function
  • Develop methods to reduce height change times.
  • Work with engineering Coordinators to design SOP’s & subsequent risk assessments for Height change procedures for all activities.

To develop and maintain excellent communication skills with the Engineering Team, Height Change/ CI team and production department to enhance integration together with team spirit
