Knottingley Plant
We have a vacancy arising for the role of Continuous Improvement Lead, reporting directly to the Plant Director. This role is for someone who has the desire and passion to influence and impact the business in all areas.
Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate must have self-confidence, could influence others and be able to develop and implement a Lean Six Sigma strategy within the plant
- The purpose of the role is to create a continuous improvement culture in plant, including identifying improvement opportunities
- Coaching and training both employee and management on improvement tools and leading initiatives to support in achieving organisational objectives
- Work closely with the Plant Management Team and group personnel, identifying targets which they will be responsible for achieving by improving efficiencies and areas within the plant
Required skills / qualifications:
- Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, (STEM)
- Engineering, technical or business degree with qualified comprehensive technical understanding
- Proven knowledge of improvement tools, preferably Six Sigma Black Belt certified or working towards
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to motivate and develop others
- Have good communication skills including technical data
- Personal drive and technical skills
