This role is on a temporary basis, requiring maintenance and repair of IS Machines to ensure efficient job changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Company Health and Safety Procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including housekeeping according to Hygiene Rules.
  • Prepare equipment for job changes to ensure efficiency.
  • Perform job changes using correct equipment and procedures to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and rectify faults during and after job changes to ensure machines run correctly.
  • Maintain IS (Independent Section) machines as per schedule to prevent malfunctions.
  • Repair equipment from IS machines for reuse to reduce downtime.

Required skills / qualifications:

Apprentice-trained Mechanical Craftsman with ability to:

  • Basic Welding
  • Fabrication
  • Pipe work Installation

  • Salary based on Grade 7, ranging from £36,000 to £40,491.
