Responsibilities:

  • Issue samples of faulty ware at the start of a new job and collect and store them at the end of the job to ensure they will be available next time the job is run.
  • Monitor the work of the Cold End Line Controllers throughout the job to ensure compliance with Quality Control procedures and Record Keeping.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finished products performance and ensure they are followed through.
  • Planning for future tasks to ensure that the finished products department achieves maximum performance.
  • Work with the job change team to ensure that line performance is fully optimised, and all checks are completed and logged as required to meet both quality and customer needs.
  • Proactively drive improvement in areas requiring additional support without being instructed.

Required skills / qualifications:

  • Understanding of the full range of bottle faults and their origins
  • Good communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Working knowledge of both quality control and engineering
  • Familiar with inspection equipment
  • Be proactive, organised and have a commercial focus
