Responsibilities:
- Issue samples of faulty ware at the start of a new job and collect and store them at the end of the job to ensure they will be available next time the job is run.
- Monitor the work of the Cold End Line Controllers throughout the job to ensure compliance with Quality Control procedures and Record Keeping.
- Identify opportunities to improve finished products performance and ensure they are followed through.
- Planning for future tasks to ensure that the finished products department achieves maximum performance.
- Work with the job change team to ensure that line performance is fully optimised, and all checks are completed and logged as required to meet both quality and customer needs.
- Proactively drive improvement in areas requiring additional support without being instructed.
Required skills / qualifications:
- Understanding of the full range of bottle faults and their origins
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
- Working knowledge of both quality control and engineering
- Familiar with inspection equipment
- Be proactive, organised and have a commercial focus
