Are you willing to work night shifts, Sunday to Thursday (9 hours per night), and seeking a role within a progressive, forward-thinking company? Arcus FM is looking for a Night Shift Water Leak Technician on a permanent basis to carry out reactive and proactive water leak solutions on refrigeration equipment and pipework across all client stores in the South West London & Surrey areas.

Salary: £33,147 (including shift allowance of £3,595)

  • Van (with option for personal use from day 1) and fuel card
  • Smartphone, tools, uniform, PPE
  • Up to 4% discretionary bonus scheme, subject to achievement of targets
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

You will join a friendly and dynamic team of professionals who are supportive, dedicated, and continuously seek process improvements to deliver the best service. Your responsibilities include carrying out reactive and proactive work safely and to high standards, mainly on refrigeration condensate pipework. Tasks involve:

  • Responding to logged water leaks
  • Identifying leak sources
  • Repairing/replacing faulty pipework or components
  • Clearing blockages
  • Maintaining drainage systems
  • Diagnosing faults to provide effective solutions

Ensure jobs are completed within SLA timeframes, meet all KPIs, and comply with health & safety procedures and client site requirements. Planning routes and managing daily workload efficiently, with a focus on first-time fixes, is essential.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience with water leak or drainage works (advantageous)
  • Basic plumbing knowledge
  • Basic electrical knowledge (desired but not essential)
  • Trade or industry qualifications (desired but not essential)
  • A full UK driving license (essential)
  • IT skills, including apps and email

Other factors:

  • Ability to work nights
  • Flexibility for Sunday shifts as needed
  • Sunday to Thursday, 45 hours per week
  • On-call rota (1-4 or 1-8 depending on busy periods)
