Are you a DevOps Engineer passionate about automation, scalability, and reliability? Arcus FM are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team, helping to bridge the gap between development and operations.
You will play a key role in automating infrastructure, managing cloud environments, and optimising the software delivery process. You will be working remotely, with occasional visits to our sites in Redditch or Cirencester.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment
- Automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and other IaC tools
- Managing AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, RDS, VPC, S3, etc.) for scalable, cost-effective solutions
- Collaborating cross-functionally to support smooth product launches and updates
- Monitoring environments and applications to ensure availability, performance, and reliability
- Ensuring security and compliance through best practices in secrets management, access control, and vulnerability remediation
- Participating in incident management, including root cause analysis and out-of-hours support
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in a DevOps Engineering role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Docker
- Solid grasp of CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python
- Background in Linux/Unix system administration
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, PagerDuty, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- An automation-first mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
Desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- AWS Associate Certification(s)
- Terraform Associate Certification
- Previous experience with container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes)
