Solutions Architect

We are seeking a solution-driven architect looking to influence and drive technological standards for long-term success.The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-sufficient solutions expert with excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively at all levels. This role not only involves delivering solutions but also contributing to the creation of architectural standards that will drive the business forward.Key Responsibilities:

• Designing technological solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging existing applications, platforms, and standards. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Ensuring solutions comply with standards and guidelines set by governance bodies such as Information Security and Data Protection
• Leading infrastructure, development, and project teams to implement solutions as designed, and actively participating in sprint planning and retrospectives
• Presenting at Technical Design Authority forums to secure approval from relevant stakeholders, including colleagues from business, operations, and IT
• Presenting at Architecture Review Boards to seek approval from architects, platform owners, and other impacted stakeholders at a group level
• Reviewing solutions proposed by peers and offering constructive feedback
• Leading non-functional evaluations of new applications and platforms, assessing the benefits and risks, and recommending the most suitable options
• Qualifying vendors – based on product quality, support, skills, and capabilities

Skills and Experience:

• Deep understanding of technology trends and enterprise solutions
• Experience with .Net-based applications and integrations
• Proficiency with Azure as both IaaS and PaaS
• Experience with – Salesforce, Databricks, Delta Lake, and PowerBI
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and traditional development platforms, with exposure to diverse technologies
• Proven experience in leading a major transformation program
• Strong strategic leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across different business units and locations
• Experience in the insurance industry
• Expertise in developing applications with modern architectures, including distributed systems and cloud-native deployments
